Anna Bellina Messino, my grandmother, began her modest career in Italy as a couturier for women who wanted high fashion in the late 1800s. An offshoot of this was the beginning of Anna Bellina, the basics in skin care with the most basic ingredients and of course all natural, in Rangoon, Burma. In the 1800s skin care products were handcrafted and wholesome. They did not contain petroleum byproducts, industrial solvents, or an assortment of toxic chemicals.
My mother, Dorothy Beatrice Taylor, came stateside after WWII and raised organic botanicals in a green house in Atlanta. She sold these through a small mail order catalog. Perhaps even to a holistic healer long before "natural" hit the market.
I am now a third generation of skin care, with each product being formulated, blended, decanted, labeled, and packaged by hand with attention to quality and detail. Everything is hand made in small 32 or 128 ounce batches, using fresh all natural gourmet ingredients to ensure the highest quality and organic integrity. Mission Statement
To reduce the chemical clutter found in health and beauty products. To heal the body and lift the spirit through aromatherapy. I lost my Mom to breast cancer, my Dad to prostate cancer, and a brother lost a kidney to cancer. I am all to aware of what a chemical cocktail overload may do.
