all natural face care
A product's application is the most misunderstood method about your skin care products and also the most abused ~ The MOST COMMON skin problems ~ Do you have....irritated tissues... excessive dryness... excessive oiliness... excessive puffiness... numerous breakouts... blackheads... premature aging on parts of your skin... sagging skin... rough skin texture... lack of even absorption by the skin?If you answered "yes" to any one of these questions, then more than likely you are one of those who is scrubbing, tugging, and not gently conditioning or hydrating the skin. Remember, this is a living organ, would you treat your kidneys this roughly?
My Press-Release-Press-Release Application Technique
or the Caress the Skin You're In MassageTwice a day, after your skin is cleansed and toned, there is a special slow and gentle
application technique that facilitates penetration of product and helps your skin receive the maximum amount of potent skin nutrients without disturbing the delicate connective tissue which repeated rough massaging and scrubbing motions can compromise. Use just enough product to create a thin veil on skin of face, neck, décolleté, and back of hands:
*
Eye Treatments
spread half a pump or 1 drop of eye treatment between toner damp ring fingers, gently pat onto the bony ridge surrounding eyes, go back and press-hold-release-press-hold-release with ring finger to evenly distribute product and give eyes an acupressure treatment to help reduce puffiness and dark circles, body heat will melt product so it will migrate toward lash line, this avoids getting product into eyes or using too much to weigh down delicate tissues.
*
Serums and Moisturizers
spread one to two pumps or two to three drops of treatment serum or moisturizer between toner damp hands, gently press open hands on each side of the face, then neck, then decollete, then back of hands, then center of face, then cup jaw line with palms, then eyes with fingers, go back and press-release-press-release all over gently to evenly distribute product and give your connective tissue and glands a mini acupressure treatment, using palms and fingers and fingertips as needed, basically it's caressing your skin.
*
Exfoliators and Scrubs
spread exfoliant between toner damp hands, cup hands together and gently press open hands on center of face (avoiding the eye area totally) with fingers on forehead and heals of palm resting on chin, then on each side of face, then neck, then decollete, then back of hands, then cup jaw line with palms, go back and press-release-press-release all over gently (still avoiding the eye area) for a few minutes to evenly distribute product and give your connective tissue and glands a mini acupressure treatment, using palms and fingers and fingertips as needed, basically it's caressing your skin free of dead skin cells
without scrubbing which weakens the connective tissue that leads to sagging and causes microscopic tears in the skin that lead to wrinkles.
Take this caressing application technique and incorporate the
acupressure massage for lymph gland stimulation which clears clogged pores, firms connective tissue and musclesFor an at
home microdermabrasion treatment:
Dot cream onto dry or damp skin, make small circles for 15-30 rotations going in both directions over acne scar. Repeat 4 times a week and wear a sunscreen. After a few weeks, the skin surface will become more even with fading scars.
Mascara Removal TechniqueSpread one pump makeup remover or vegetable oil between middle finger and thumb, gently massage
only the eyelashes to dissolve waterproof mascara, take a facial tissue and place between middle finger and thumb so that you encase only the eyelashes, gently wipe just lashes free of softened mascara, this saves tugging on the delicate eye lids, now use your facial cleanser to cleanse face and eye lids of makeup.
This technique will make a vast difference in eye skin firmness.

Some skin care regimens will employ the full line of products and some will opt for a simpler regimen. Even the basics on a daily basis will nourish, protect, and help slow the natural aging process.
Many factors affect your skin's appearance. The inherited genetic traits cannot be altered. The time of year, geographical location, health level, medications, and life style will sometimes dictate which products you use. This is the preferred order of use (but not written in stone):
Twice Daily, Am and Pm
cleanser
toner
eye serum
serum
hydrator
moisturizer
sunscreen
with misting a few times a day
Thrice Weekly after cleansing
exfoliant
mask
follow with toner on cotton to remove loosened pore debris and then the rest of your skin care regimenThere is a rhyme and reason to this order of application but suffice it to say,
this will allow your skin optimum benefits.
Cleansers: shake, am if desired and every pm
gently massage into wet or dry skin with a circular motion, pay special attention to problem areas and wings of nose, rinse with tepid water, repeat if necessary, rinse and gently pat dry, follow with toner.
Toners: shake, am and pm after cleansing
mist face with toner, use cotton pads dampened with toner in one small area at a time, keep using fresh moist cotton until the last one comes away perfectly white, then move to the next area and repeat this deep pore cleansing process,
spritz once or twice a few times a day even over makeup!, once is not enough.
Spot Treatment Serums: shake, am and pm after toning
gently press one pump onto toner moist skin on areas that need targeted skin correction such as eyes, blemishes, upper lip, congested pores, any smaller area that needs special attention. Argireline serums need to totally dry before the next step.
Treatment Serums: shake, am and pm after spot treatment serum
gently press-release-press-release a small amount of serum onto larger areas for skin correction such as firming jaw line, hormonal control on chin region, reducing oiliness in T zone, avoid eyes if serum is drying or for acne.
Hydrators: shake, am and pm after treatment serum is almost dry
gently press-release-press-release one pump for face, or two pumps for face, neck, décolleté, and back of hands to add hydration or moisture to the skin.
Moisturizers: shake, am and pm after hydrator is almost dry
gently press-release-press-release one pump for face, or two pumps for face, neck, décolleté, and back of hands to lubricate skin and seal in hydration, the SPF is the last product to be applied for sun reflection.
Exfoliants: 1 to 4 times a week
if wearing makeup wash face first, on dry or wet skin use a spatula to remove product, gently press-release-press-release a large scoop of exfoliant onto toner moist skin of face, neck, and décolleté for 1-2 minutes, avoid eyes, pay special attention to problem areas and wings of nose, rinse with tepid water, if congested pores then follow with toner on cotton balls to remove deeply imbedded pore debris that has been loosened, follow with mask or treatment.
Masks: 1 to 4 times a week after exfoliating
use a spatula to remove product, apply a thin even layer to skin of the face, neck, and décolleté that totally covers skin and separates it from the air, most of our masks are safe and good for the delicate eye area, lie back and relax for 15 -30 minutes as the nutrients penetrate, smooth skin, and remove toxins, rinse with tepid water, pat dry, mist but do not use toner on cotton balls, follow with treatments.
* Powdered masks need to be mixed with an activator and used immediately due to the short life span of the papaya enzymes which last about 20 minutes:
whole milk - natural lactic acid exfoliates
egg white - makes a super firming treatment that hardens
honey – very rich moisturizer and gentle exfoliant
yogurt, avocado, strawberry, blueberries - powerful skin nutrients and moisturizers
toner - for a simple hydrating mask
apple cider vinegar - astringent for oily skins, avoid eyes (1/4 to 1/3 ACV with toner or water)
start with 1 to 2 scoops powder and 1 scoop liquid, mix slowly to create a spreadable paste that won't tug or run, if too thick add more liquid slowly.
Note: not all products need to be used all the time all over, your skin, climate, and other factors will dictate what to use... learn to listen to your skin

Recommendations* misting with your toner throughout the day is the #1 Beauty Secret!
* herbal products are best used 6 days on 1 day off, then several weeks on one week off, skin will respond better if products are not used constantly
* you should not see your skin move significantly underneath your fingertips in order to preserve the connective tissue ~ most of us grew up with the massaging method, rubbing in circles and long massaging strokes, actually using the 'press and release and press and release' motion with the fingertips and palms is much better, the skin's connective tissue does not get tugged on and this pressure is like a mini acupressure massage which is much better for the glands underneath the skin, it stimulates and moves lymph and helps increase circulation, this pressure is particularly good around the eyes as it will help eliminate puffiness and dark circles, it also helps push the product into the skin, but this is exactly why product needs be used sparingly, so as not to clog pores
* the Circadian rhythm is the day-awake, night-sleep cycle that most people naturally observe, the skin reaches it's 'getting ready to shut down for the day' between 9 and 11 pm, this is also when the skin is at it's peak absorbing potential so of course it makes sense to do the evening cleansing, toning, exfoliating, masking...at this time when the skin can take the best advantage of drinking in the nutrients and hydration
* light, frequent, and consistent applications are more effective than one heavy one
* please remember that these are extremely concentrated products and to use sparingly, if you happen to apply too much simply blot with a tissue.
