Skin Texture
Skin Texture is the Result of a Number of Factors:
*smoothness of the surface
*glycosaminoglycan content of the skin
*collagen content of the skin
*elastin content of the skin
*hydration levels
These factors are in turn affected by diet, hormones, and skin care products.
To rapidly and safely refine the skin's surface, it is recommended to follow the Dry Skin Care treatment, with particular emphasis on D Serum and D Mask.
D Exfoliator provides a temporary treatment for slight textural irregularities and its use may be combined with the other skin treatments.
Hydration and glycosaminoglycan content is best addressed by Hydrators.
Collagen and elastin production may be restored to youthful levels with the assistance of Serums, or moreso by following the D Mask lifting treatment.
Skin Texture - Other Areas of Concern:
*Wrinkles - fine and deep or cross-hatched
*Hyperpigmentation
*Loose Skin
*Skin Coloring
*Blotchiness
*Broken Capillaries
*Skin Texture
Collagen and elastin are tissues which keep the skin firm.
Over time they are weakened and diminished by gravity, internal and external factors. The resulting "downward pull" makes superficial blemishes, including fine lines and deeper wrinkles, more noticeable.
Facial rejuvenation begins with establishing a skin which functions well in a general sense. This provides a foundation from which to target more specific problems, while preventing the development of new conditions, whether serious or minor.
